Have A Seat

Calhoun Chairs

These chairs are located on Calhoun Street between Washington and Jefferson Boulevards just outside of the Fort Wayne/Allen County Convention and Visitors Bureau office.

They may be a place to have a seat, or they may be, as Jon Swerens puts it on the photo’s flickr page, “trolley blockades”.

The seats are located just a few feet north of the site of a recent trolley mishap.

  1. Come visit us and sit for a spell! There’s also a bike rack for convenient two wheel parking. It’s the lime green corkscrew shaped object. Personally, it reminds me of the “Raptor” roller coaster at Cedar Point. Not always a bad thing.

And yes, these sand filled seats narrowly escaped the trolley. Maybe they’ll help prevent the next Calhoun commotion.

  2. Psst.

But the chairs are uber-cool. Maybe Denny Cranewill stop by and have a cigar.

  3. Doh. Sorry Jon. Fingers didn’t type what brain was thinking. Changed.
