The Critical Mass event for July 25, 2008 went like this:

Started at Lawton Park
South on Clinton to Washington
Washington west all the way to Jefferson Pointe
Turned around, went back along Jefferson Blvd to Clinton
South on Clinton
West on Rudisill to Foster Park
Turned around, north on Broadway
Whole group stops at Zestos on Broadway for ice cream
North on Broadway to Wayne
East on Wayne, north on Calhoun to City County parking garage
Group ascends to top of garage for group photo
Group zooms down garage spiral to head north on Clinton back to Lawton Park

Estimated distance covered: 16-17 miles

Critical Mass

  4. The whole route was a little over 17 miles, even longer for people who also rode to and from Lawton park.
