Parkview is the preeminent healthcare provider in NE Indiana and it makes sense that it invests in the heart of downtown. All this will do is show how significant downtown revitalization is for the health of any city. It is company's and health system's responsibility to support such initiatives to ensure attracting new talent into a community. If I am a surgeon or lawyer or engineer and I am getting courted to move to Fort Wayne or NE Indiana I am going to look at the growth of a city and what it has to offer. Fort Wayne is a great place to raise a family and with the revitalization of downtown it will help protect against "brain drain" and assist in job retention. My hat goes off to Parkview for stepping up to the plate and taking ownership and responsibility of this region. A definite "home run"!!! This is so promising.
