Cleveland To Pittsburgh: Nat City Bought By PNC
According to Fort Wayne Observed, National City is being acquired by PNC Financial Services of Pittsburgh.
The National City Center building (above), formerly named for Fort Wayne National Bank, was built in 1970 and is Fort Wayne’s second tallest building. It was the city’s tallest building from 1970 to 1982.
Because of the acquisition, there is likely to be changes in store for the downtown building.
