What’s Going Down(town) is the result of an evolution of the blog Downtown Fort Wayne Baseball, started by brothers Brian and Scott Spaulding in December of 2006.

That blog focused mostly on the Harrison Square downtown redevelopment project (which includes a ballpark, hence the name).

WGDT was started in April of 2008 to provide an avenue for sharing stories of a more general nature related to development in downtown Fort Wayne.
